The Handcrafted Art Pyrography-Wood Burnt Wall Plaque features a lovely picture is produced by burning every detail into a piece of birch veneer plywood. Then, the plaque is then hand-painted with watercolors to draw out all of the details of the beautiful scene and enhance the realism of the design. The picture may also be left in its natural burnt state providing a more rustic leek. An acrylic clear finish is added to bring out the natural grain of the wood and preserve the work of art for years to come.

Bio Lewis Baber

Lewis was born 76 years ago and raised in Des Moines,Iowa and now resides in Seattle , Washington. As a child, Lewis found immense pleasure in painting and drawing. This recreational activity soon blossomed into a passionate hobby, as his interest in artistic interpretations and depictions grew.

Previously, Lewis worked in the Science industry While working, he kept exploring different paint mediums and decided to finally turn his passion for art into a profession in 1987. Since that day, there has been no looking back.

Being an admirer of Mother Nature, and the Metaphysical World Lewis loves spending time outdoors. His woodburning are inspired by outdoor ventures, usually an evening walk in his neighboring hills and fields, and inspiration is drawn from his surroundings and everyday life.

Lewis has experimented with several mediums, such as acrylics, pastels, and watercolour, but Wood Burnt-(Pyrography)preferred medium. Being a self-taught and self-represented artist gives him the freedom and proficiency to express himself, his work has evolved through his own personal experience. The internet has always been his greatest source of information and techniques. He strives to improve his craft with every new picture
